09:00 - Begin the day with a drive to the picturesque, fortified city of Signagi, renowned for its historic wall and watchtowers. Enjoy a stroll through this charming town, known for its stunning views over the Alazani Valley and its beautifully preserved architecture.
From Signagi, we visit the serene Bodbe Monastery. Located on a hillside, the monastery offers sweeping vistas of the Alazani Valley, the heart of Georgia’s winemaking region, framed by the towering peaks of the Greater Caucasus.
Next, we stop at Khareba Winery to sample fine Kakhetian wines, including traditional wines aged in kvevri (clay vessels) according to age-old Georgian customs.
Afterward, we continue to Gremi Fortress to explore the historic site and visit the local history museum, learning more about the unique traditions of Kakheti.
The journey proceeds to Telavi, where we explore the old town, visit the vibrant Telavi food market, and experience the flavors of the region. On our way back to Tbilisi, we drive through the scenic Gombori Pass.
